Hollis Taggart Galleries congratulates gallery artist Audrey Flack on her inclusion in several group shows this summer. She is the banner artist for the Tampa Art Museum's
Photorealism: 50 Years of Hyperrealistic Painting,
organized by the Institut für Kulturaustausch in Tübingen, Germany and on view in Tampa through October 22. Flack's work is also featured in About Face, on view until September 17 at the Southampton Arts Center. This exhibition examines the diverse ways human beings are presented in the art of today. And finally, on August 6 the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, New York will open
From Lens to Eye to Hand: Photorealism 1969 to Today, a survey that reexamines this important movement with a focus on the Photorealist artists' truly trailblazing works.
